 Becky Macfarlane (Parent Governor)

Vice Chair of Governors, Chair of the Teaching & Learning Committee and member of the Finance & Resources Committee. I worked as a Retail Manager for 15 years and now work as Operations Manager for our family business. I have two children at SPS and wanted to become involved with and support the school and create more links between the parent community and Governing Body.

Louise Vesely-Shore (Co-Opted Governor)

Member of the Teaching & Learning Committee and Finance & Resources Committee. I work in law enforcement, providing specialist support and advice to police and partners across the UK. I have a background in psychology, and have worked in the area of missing persons for many years. Through my work I have seen how important our early years are in shaping our futures, and I am proud to have the opportunity to support my local community in this way.

Emma Young (Co-Opted Governor)

Member of the Finance & Resources Committee and nominated governor for Health and Safety. I work for a non-departmental government body focussing on data protection and corporate security. I have had a previous career in children’s social services.  As a Shirehampton resident, and a volunteer reading coach for adults, I want to be able to support an inspiring school to give children the best start in life.

  Alexia Graveney (Parent Governor)

Member of the Teaching & Learning Committee. My background is in project management and external communications, currently working on one of Europe's largest construction projects, with a skillset that can be transferred to my role as Parent Governor. Supporting our community and school is incredibly important and I'm really pleased to be able to work with our school from parent's perspective. I am also a trustee and treasurer for the LWOOSA & SOOSA charity that delivers after school care.
