Daily class life

Rainbow Day

As part of our Rainbow Day, we celebrated our heroes. We wrote thank you letters to key workers, created lanyards with our heroes and blew bubbles. A great day was had by all!

RE

In RE, we having been learning about Hinduism. As part of our lessons, we learnt about belonging, the rites of passage (Upanayana and Ritu Kala Samskara) and Diwali. The highlights were making Diwali lamps and decorating biscuits with Hindu patterms.

The Stone Age

In our topic, we have been looking at the Stone Age. The children have shown a great excitement about the subject. We've created our own cave paintings, held a protest to save Stonehenge and, along with our science topic- rocks, excavated some fossils.

Team Work

In Year 3, we have been learning how to work collaboratively. Our task was to build the highest tower out of paper and magazines. All the children worked well together and ironed our any conflicts that arose during the task. The end results were fantastic. Congratulations to our winning team!

Our New Class Pets

Stanley and Dexter have brought into school some of their stick insects from home. As a present to the class, we can look after them for the near future. We would like to say a massive thank you to Dexter and Stanley's family for bringing them in and helping us get set up!
