Ofsted & Parent View
Ofsted is the Office for Standards in Education, Children’s Services and Skills. Ofsted reports directly to Parliament and is an independent and impartial body.
Ofsted inspects and regulates services which care for children and young people, and those providing education and skills for learners of all ages.
Ofsted’s aim is to promote improvement and value for money in the services they inspect and regulate, so that children and young people, parents and carers, adult learners and employers benefit.
Further information and inspection reports are published on the Ofsted website.
The latest Ofsted inspection report and previous reports for Shirehampton Primary School can be found by clicking on this link.

Parent View gives parents/carers the chance to tell Ofsted what they think about their child’s school, from the quality of teaching to dealing with bullying and poor behaviour. The survey can be completed at any time; a parent/carer does not have to wait until the school is being inspected.
Ofsted will use the information provided when making decisions about which schools to inspect and when.
The survey is not designed to receive complaints about schools. If a parent/carer wishes to make a complaint or have a serious concern about their child’s school, they can find more information about how to do so on Ofsted’s complaints page.
Shirehampton Primary School’s Parent View page can be accessed by clicking HERE.
A parent/carer will need to click the ‘Give your views’ link to register and complete a survey to help their child’s school improve.
