"My child has really excelled since joining your school. I feel her teachers really encouraged and made her feel more confident in her learning."
As a highly reflective educational setting, we produce a self evaluation document that highlights our strengths as well as areas we need to develop further. Our self evaluation has always been praised by Ofsted as accurate and focused on the correct priorities.
End of Key Stage 2 Science tests take place biennially. Schools must submit teacher assessment judgements, using the published assessment frameworks, for all children in Science and writing.
Ofsted provide Inspection Data Summary Reports (IDSR) for schools and Further Education and Skills providers. The IDSR provides a snapshot of performance in a school, college or other further education and skills providers. The IDSR can be used by Governors and by members of the public to check performance of the school or provider in which they are interested. The IDSR complements the Ofsted inspection report by providing an analysis of performance over a three year period and comparisons to other schools or providers. The data should be used by Governors to generate key questions to support and challenge the leadership team. Shirehampton Primary School’s IDSR can be viewed here.
